Governor's Home

Stay at Governor’s Home Historic Bed & Breakfast in downtown Cheyenne- the official residence of the the Governor of Wyoming during the 1930’s!

Built in the mid 1920’s, Governor’s Home served as the official residence of the Governor of Wyoming during the 1930’s. During that time, the Hon. Governor Leslie Miller decided to use his private residence and rent out the Wyoming state’s Governor’s Mansion and provide savings and revenue to Wyoming taxpayers. A former oilman and rancher, Leslie Miller served 2 terms as Governor and was a keen botantist.

Governor’s Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (Wyoming Place Nr 151). Its historical charm, architecture and design details represent the time period it was built and served as the Governor’s residence.  Frontiera llc purchased the property in early 2020.  After renovations to several areas of the home and infrastructure to better reflect the vintage style and time period of the home’s character, we opened to guests as Governor’s Home Historic Bed & Breakfast to guests in July 2020.
